Gulf Green ®

Gulf Green® is a grass variant that doesn’t produce seed, making it perfect to plant around homes where the inhabitants are sensitive to pollen allergies. It’s sometimes called Golf Green because it looks like a putting green. Gulf Green® lawns are very soft and handle high traffic well. It grows very fast in the summer and you’ll need to mow it once a week. In winter growth is slower and the colour only dulls a bit.

TRANSPLANTING GULF GREEN® INSTANT LAWN

Gulf Green® has a dense root structure and is very short internode length. It needs an intensive watering regiment, especially when it’s hot and dry, benefitting from water twice daily in these conditions.

Gulf Green® transplants well and can be planted all year round. It likes a bit of fertilizer and will green up quickly.

Because it’s so reliant on regular irrigation, well points, boreholes, greywater systems and rain tanks can offer relief during droughts or municipal water restrictions.
